Haven of Rest MinistriesHaven of Rest is in need of clothing. We usually have more than enough. But our Clothing Distribution department told me they are in need of: shirts, pants, shoes, belts, underwear of all sizes, socks of all sizes... especially for men. Partnering in God’s MissionWe are excited to share that Living Vine Community Church has entered into a partnership with two International Worker families serving in Berlin, Germany. Inspired by Acts 1:8, this partnership invites us to be part of God’s work locally and globally, sharing in the mission of advancing His Kingdom both in Berlin and right here in Stow, Ohio. Because of the sensitive nature of their ministry, we cannot share their names in our newsletter. Even so, our partnership with them will be personal and meaningful, rooted in prayer, encouragement, and ongoing connection. They will keep us updated on their work, share prayer needs, and visit us during home assignments to strengthen our relationship. In turn, we will walk alongside them through prayer, financial support, short-term mission opportunities, and creative ways for every member of our church family to be involved. A special part of this partnership is supporting their work financially. All contributions will be coordinated through Living Vine to ensure these families are cared for faithfully and effectively. More information will be shared soon about how you can take part in this exciting partnership. Together, we are joining in the ongoing story of God’s Kingdom. The book of Acts is unfinished, and we believe it is intentional. Its next chapters are being written through our prayers, our partnership, and our faithful participation in the work God is doing in the world.

Elected Positions: Treasurer, 3 Elder Seats, Elder Secretary amd Non-Elected Appointees: Deacons, Deaconnesses, Trustees Please be in prayer as the committee asks people to prayerfully step into roles for the next couple of years in many of the appointed roles as well as those that maybe elected to positions at the Annual Meeting in January. |

Missions Emphasis WeekendOn November 1 and 2, we are excited to welcome Todd and Terri Althaus back to Living Vine. Before serving overseas as C&MA International Workers, Todd was our youth pastor many years ago. As they step into retirement, they want to celebrate with us all that the Lord has done through their ministry, which has been part of God’s larger work of bringing all of Jesus for all the world.
