Christmas War/Christmas PeaceAdvent Sermon Series There is a cosmic war behind Christmas, but that also comes with Jesus wanting us to have His peace in this life. Oftentimes what sidetracks us from that peace is not always the cosmic war, but small interpersonal wars. The holidays bring many of these to the surface. So how can you find peace in those wars? Come and discover how to find peace in the midst of the battle. |

Joy For All PeopleChristmas Offering The Alliance Christmas Offering is one of the Alliance family’s key moments to expand gospel presence among the world’s remaining unreached peoples. It’s about all of us joining in to complete the Great Commission—by giving, praying, and participating in what God has commanded us to do. The gospel is, at its heart, good news of great joy. Those of us who are in Christ have already received the gift of hearing the good news; we are the fruit of a harvest already gathered in. But this good news of great joy is for all people—and we must share it with those who have yet to hear. For more infomation visit:

Missions Update
Urgent need for Taylor Dye Taylor Dye recently found out that one of her significant donors is no longer able to partner in the ministries in Guinea. She has a need for an additional $1000 per month to be raised for her support. Praise God, that $625 has already been raised since she found out, leaving her with $375 more needed by December 31st in order for her to continue working in Guinea. Would you pray with her as she navigates meeting this need? Join a Rooted Group
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers…and all who believed were together and had all things in common.” (Acts 2:42, 44) The believers of the early church were deeply connected to one another, to God and to their purpose as followers of Jesus. Do you long for this type of connection? Are you feeling a little stagnant in your spiritual growth? How do we live like those early disciples in our modern lives? Rooted groups are meant to help you practice the seven foundational rhythms of discipleship within a small group. Being part of a Rooted group will help you deepen your connection to God, the Church, and your purpose. Rooted groups will be starting in January. You can sign up for a group based on your availability. For more infomation visit:

July 4-9, 2025
The Life Conference is a gathering through our denomination, The Christian & Missionary Alliance, for High School Students that takes place every three years. Life 2025 is in Indianapolis, IN on July 4-9, 2025. It is for students entering 9th-12th grade next summer & class of '25 grads. The Life Conference is an opportunity for students to get away, hear from God, experience community and personal growth with emphasis on main sessions, breakout seminars, experiences related to prayer, missions, and justice, and a hands-on service project. Church Family: We need your prayers in the months leading up to and during the conference! You can help offset a portion of the cost to help get every student and youth leader to Life by sponsoring a registration cost for one (or more!) participant. The registration cost covers conference fees and 8 meals and is $500 per person. Please prayerfully consider making a one time or monthly donation to help us get our group to Indy! Students, Parents, and Families: Contact Pastor Jim in order to register at this time jsouza@livingvine.church |
