Living Vine Community Church originally began as Stow Alliance Fellowship. It was birthed out of a home Bible study movement in 1958. People from Stow and the surrounding areas came together around the Bible and fellowship. That group of believers called a pastor, purchased a property in Stow and moved in in 1960, and began reaching the surrounding communities.
We have a history and a passion for being a church of starting and sending. We were active in planting multiple churches and sending many international workers to share the Gospel in other parts of the world. The world has changed a lot since 1958, and in 2024 we officially replanted as Living Vine Community Church.
We felt God led us to this new name. It really captures the themes of discipleship, community and life all at the same. We believe God is still calling us to reach those who don’t know Jesus, teach Scripture, launch new churches, and send out leaders. We feel we are well positioned now as Living Vine continue this mission in the 21st century. You are now part of that story!
