The MomCo is an international organization that stands for Mom Community. The mission of MomCo is to encourage and equip moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. Our local group is a group offering hope, encouragement, community, and mothering support to moms of children newborn through kindergarten. It’s a place for you and your kids to be cared for and to make new friends.
Who Can Come?
All moms with a child newborn through kindergarten, we have a place for you! Here at MomCo, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together in Jesus’ name.
When Is It?
It is the second Tuesday of the month from September- May, from 9:30am-11:30am in the Community Room of Living Vine Community Church.
What Can I Expect?
Free coffee and breakfast, free childcare, and most importantly you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. A MomCo meeting includes hanging out, building friendships, Biblical encouragement, honest conversations, and practical teaching on a variety of topics including: motherhood, marriage, parenting, and children. You are placed into a smaller group within our meetings, with a Mentor Mom for wisdom and support, and a table full of familiar, friendly faces you can join each meeting for discussion and fun. We also love to get together between meetings! Our group plans monthly play-dates and mom’s nights out as a way to help our moms and kids connect more deeply with each other.
What About My Kids?
Our KidsCo program has something for every age from newborn through preschool. We have wonderful, caring, talented childcare volunteers who work hard to care for and love our children while us moms get a little break. Our teachers provide games, crafts, stories and snacks for our children. All of our volunteers are background checked and approved by our host church before being allowed to volunteer with our kiddos.
